TSO | Two violinists in section player positions

These are combined positions in Trondheim Symphony Orchestra & Opera (TSO) and The Trondheim Soloists (TS)

TSO holds approximately 20 symphonic concert productions per season (August until June). In addition to this, TSO produces opera, in which the orchestra performs for one or more productions per year. Popular concerts and concerts for schoolchildren and adolescents are also part of our ordinary activity. Additionally, TSO has an early music ensemble. TSO is led by Chief Conductor Adam Hickox, ushering in an exciting new chapter in the orchestra's history book.

TS is a dynamic ensemble of quality musicians connected to the city of Trondheim in Norway. The orchestra was established in 1988 as a string orchestra that performs music across a wide range of genres and musical styles. The orchestra holds approximately 50 concerts per season in Norway and internationally. Today's Artistic Director, Guro Kleven Hagen, continues the development of the TS with concerts that are characterized by spontaneity, exuberance and intensity.

Both these positions entail duty to perform for TSO and TS.

The annual salary ranges p.t. between NOK 698 640 and 781 886, with incremental rises based on seniority.
