For the future and its opportunities!
My first experience of collaborating with the Trondheim Symphony Orchestra felt truly electric. The chemistry was immediate, and the performance of Verdi’s Requiem left a profound impression on me. Therefore, I’m delighted to have been asked to take on the role of Chief Conductor. Together we will explore a great variety of repertoire and aim to give audiences unforgettable experiences, whilst continuing to deepen our relationship to the community. In a world where we need the expressive power of music more than ever, it is the greatest privilege to now call these brilliant musicians my colleagues.
Adam Hickox
