Trondheim Symphony Orchestra holds approximately 25 symphonic concert productions per season (August until June). In addition to this, TSO produces opera, in which the orchestra performs for one or more productions per year.

Popular concerts and concerts for school children and adolescents are also part of our ordinary activity. Additionally, we have an early music ensemble, and some of our section musicians serve part of their duty in the chamber orchestra, TrondheimSolistene.

TSO wishes to employ a musician who, in addition to being a brilliant instrumentalist, possesses good leadership and communication skills.

The position is one of two fulltime principal cello positions.

The annual salary is p.t. between NOK 678 332 and 777 983, subject to seniority.

Audition participation is open to everyone by submitting a video of the advertised repertoire of the first round. The due date for submission of this video is 20 November 2023.
